ABOUT THE CLASS

Classes will incorporate functional movements as well as plyometrics (jump training) that will push your body to the next level.  Level 3 will consist of high-intensity circuit training in which each exercise is performed for 60 seconds.  Circuits include 6-8 exercises and rest is taken after completion of each circuit.  Modifications are always available to fit each individual’s fitness level.  Safety is of primary concern, and participants will never be asked to perform an exercise if the form breaks down or the exercise becomes painful.  Get outside of your comfort zone and push your mental and physical state with SGT Level 3.

All of our instructors are nationally certified and must complete the necessary continuing education hours to stay on top of the latest trends and to meet your needs. They are also required to be AED and CPR certified.

Julie attended the University of Florida and earned a master’s degree in Food and Resource Economics, but she has always had a passion for fitness. Now Julie is focusing on helping others meet their fitness goals. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

SGT has three levels to choose from

LEVEL 1

Caloric Burn – 200 to 400 calories

Lower intensity training designed for novice individuals to help preserve the body by strengthening all muscle groups through functional training, balance, engaging stabilizing muscles and all over fitness. Training will help to prevent injury and allow you to perform daily tasks.

Caloric Burn – 300 to 500 calories

Medium intensity training designed for intermediate athletes. Training on this level will help prepare you for low impact sports by strengthening muscles through core, balance and strength training.
